The Design Center at Kean University is an educational resource for educators, students,
and the general public, focusing on the impact of design on society. Along with it annual
exhibitions, The Design Center publishes an annual newsletter called Ampersand, creates
original products, such as the TalkChart, a communications device now used in hospitals
nationally, and through its association with students in the Department of Design, provides
professional design work for non-profit agencies. For more information about any of these

The Art Directors Club of New Jersey is a statewide, non-profit organization of art directors,
graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, art educators, and other creative professionals
whose talent and services contribute to excellence in the design and production of advertising,
promotion, and publishing.
The Art Directors Club of New Jersey Program Committee works hard to schedule events that will
interest our membership, so please mark your calendar and plan to attend. Get involved! Help us
